Join us in celebration of World Wetlands Day to clean the coast of the magnificent Powell’s Cove Park in College Point!
Powell’s Cove, an environmental waterfront park completed in 1999, has 17 acres are submerged marshland; only 7 acres of the park are on land.
We’ll be working at low tide for maximum effectiveness, and there is a LOT of trash-covered coastline that needs our help. Community Service credit available for students.
