Coastal Preservation Network leads students in unique marine science research projects utilizing our natural environment, under the guidance of Dr. James M. Cervino.
Among the projects underway is the Electric Reef Project, designed to bring once-thriving oysters, mussels and marsh grasses back to MacNeil Park. Pollution and over-harvesting have decimated their populations.
