Join us on MARCH 22 from 10 am &#8211; Noon!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Join us in celebration of the first weekend of spring &#8212; and a belated World Wetlands Day &#8212; to clean the coast of the magnificent Powell&#8217;s Cove Park in College Point! <\/p>\n<p>Powell\u2019s Cove, an environmental waterfront park completed in 1999, has 17 acres are submerged marshland; only 7 acres of the park are on land. <\/p>\n<p> We&#8217;ll be working at low tide for maximum effectiveness, and there is a LOT of trash-covered coastline that needs our help.
