Coastal cleanup at Powell’s Cove Park

It’s spring cleaning time on the East River! Join us as we clean the polluted coast at Powell’s Cove Park in College Point, and work shoulder to shoulder with like-minded people who want to make things better.

We will meet at the NEWEST entrance to PCP – the northernmost entrance, at 7th Ave. and 130th (dead end, down the hill from PS 129). It is a double gate and there may be cars parked in front of it so keep your eyes peeled for our signage.

We will make a difference! Our event is part of the Riverkeeper Sweep, in which volunteers at 100+ locations from Brooklyn to Albany are cleaning our riverbanks together. We’ll be out there even in light rain, but not in a torrential downpour.
